Wordless Wednesday – Drafting the Rams out

Sunday afternoon after a lovely Mother’s Day lunch at the local pub we came home and drafted the Rams out of a mob of Ewes. We can expect babies about July/August!
A sad Ram to be leaving his ladies
Heading up the drafting race, Rmas to the left, Ewes to the right.

Great photos. Such a different environment to my home one, it’s always so great to get a glimpse into others’ worlds!

LOVE the photo of the girls Nat, beautiful! Also loving that gorgeous ram at the top, he’s very cute. The black and white is a lovely touch for the farm photos xoxo

Ha! Poor sad ram…kinda like a single guy being booted out of a nightclub ;)
Looks like you had an awesome Mother’s Day, Nat ! :)

Love the photos! We always feel a bit sorry for the rams! Six weeks of hedonism, followed by 46 weeks of chastity. Not much balance. We start lambing our cross breds in about 2 weeks, and our merinos are in August. Never a dull moment on the farm!
